Negative taken for February 16, 1958, Arkansas Gazette article "Benton Continues Along Road to Growth and Prosperity," F5:2. Part of the photographer's series on Benton, Saline County, Arkansas. Construction of a $286,000 school is surveyed by Benton School Superintendent Howard Perrin. Also pictured is Perrin and Benton Mayor George L. Troutt as they go over the plans for the school. Lastly, Reynolds Metals Company's factories are a sign of the growing economy around Benton.
